Fortune Cookies
For those of you who know me personally, I'm sure you'll get a kick out of this. Further proof that fortune cookies aren't even close to telling "fortunes." Yesterday I got one that said, "You are altruistic and will be involved in many humanitarian projects." If you were not yet convinced of the total bull-crappity (of course it's a word) of fortune cookies, I'm sure you are now.

...as you are, in point of fact, a selfish old bastard.
Psh! I only WISH that were true... but how do you know? I don't believe I know anybody from Parkersburg, West Virginia.
where did you get that particular location from?
whoever sent you that comment was strange. Andrew, I appreciate seeing this fun side of you. I got to see it a lot in high school, and I never really appreciated it as I do now. So, continue the blogging. It's very inspirational- you say all the things we wish we could say. Thanks.
Just wondering, are you the same person who left the previous comment, or are you just asking out of curiosity? I got it from statcounter.com
Same person - statcounter.com, I suspect, isn't exactly a reliable source. By the way, my selfish bastard comment wasn't meant to be an insult - as I suspect you didn't take it that way...It was sarcasm - as I am in fact a cynical old bastard...Well, a cynical young bastard in training to be a cynical old one!

I know it was sarcasm. Apparently, someone else doesn't. About the statcounter thing: I compared the lists of people who were on the page to the time signature of the comment. I guess it was a mistake, unless you use a server from WV.
I sent the first message (and this one) from work, so itt's certainly possible that it's routed through a server in WV, though I thought that we were routed through Randolph AFB, TX...Oh well
