Hehe... interesting situation. Wal-Mart does have a bit of a quandary on their hands, though: don't DVD players necessitate a higher level of "self-check-out security" than bottles of catsup?
I have never used the self check-out at Wal-Mart...I try not to shop there very much. I do use the ones at Giant Eagle, however, and it is never really a problem.
I like your voice.
John- You'd think, but no. EVERYTHING has to be dragged across that stupid blue star. I was so infuriated, I almost had some words with "Sean, leader of the self-checkout security force soda-theft crackdown team." Oh, that makes me so mad!
thepinkleopard- Perfect. Another example of a company that can do the self-checkout system better than Wal-Mart. And thank you for the compliment, by the way. I thought I kinda sounded stuffed up.
Fuse more emotion into your rants and the voice blog will be wonderful. That and think about what you are going to say before hand.
And that's the problem. I'm not an actor, I'm a writer. I have a constantly growing respect for what actors do, because I finally realize that I can't do it AT ALL.
Also, it may be hard to believe, but I actually DID work out what I was going to say. The post I actually put up was the third try. After that, I just gave up on sounding "professional" or "good at all."
